Company
An engineering company, built from inside the institutions it serves.
CRUES Information Technology was established in Bethlehem in 2016. Its engineers had spent years running the systems of hospitals and public institutions before they started building them, and that experience is the foundation of everything the company does.
Our story
Systems the people inside could trust.
CRUES began with a simple observation, made over years of working inside healthcare and public institutions: technology there is not judged by how modern it is. It is judged by whether the people who depend on it can trust what it tells them, at the moment they need it most.
Too often they could not. Records disagreed with each other. Reports were assembled by hand before every deadline. Systems were imported, expensive, rigid, and built for institutions unlike ours. And an institution's own data too often belonged to a vendor rather than to the institution.
CRUES was established in 2016 to build systems for institutions like the ones its founders had served: hospitals, non-governmental organisations, public bodies and businesses that must deliver, prove it and account for it, often with fewer resources than they deserve. CRUES Health, the company's hospital information system, grew directly from that work.
Today CRUES builds and runs systems across healthcare, the non-governmental sector, government, manufacturing, trade, education and logistics. The conviction has not changed. The information in front of you must be true, the systems that hold it must work together, and they must belong to you.

Purpose
So that the people who run institutions can trust what their systems tell them, and act on it with confidence.
Vision
A region where every institution, from a community clinic to a national hospital, runs on information systems that are accurate, connected and its own.
Mission
To engineer and operate the systems institutions depend on, with the discipline of people who have carried that responsibility themselves.
Values
What we hold ourselves to.
Truth in the data
A number nobody can trace is not information. Every record we hold can be verified back to its source.
Ownership
An institution's data belongs to the institution. We build so that it stays accessible and exportable, whatever happens to any contract, including ours.
Responsibility for the whole
Software, infrastructure and security are one system. We take responsibility for all of it rather than pointing at another vendor.
Respect for the person at the screen
A nurse at three in the morning and a finance officer at month end deserve software that is fast, clear and never confusing about what matters.
Plain language
We explain what we are doing and why, in words our customers can hold us to.
Staying
We expect to support what we deliver for years. That changes how we build it on day one.
